MOTUS is an association for the promotion of intellectual, multicultural, and sports values in the Republic of North Macedonia. It was founded on February 8, 2014, in Kumanovo, by a group of young enthusiasts.
The association aims to contribute to the intellectual, cultural, and athletic development of society through its activities. Its core approach is based on multicultural cooperation, community cohesion, and the inclusion of marginalized groups in social processes — all with the goal of fostering a humane, inclusive, and responsible society.
Areas of Work
Artistic Photography
A key focus of the association is the promotion of artistic photography. In that regard, Photo Club “MOTUS” was established as part of the association and is an active member of the Photographic Association of Macedonia, participating in and organizing numerous domestic and international exhibitions, projects, and festivals.
Agro Sector
MOTUS is also active in the agricultural sector through projects aimed at:
² Protecting and improving the environment
² Reducing pesticide use and promoting non-pesticide practices in agriculture
² Supporting the production of safe food
² Preventing climate change impacts
² Preserving indigenous breeds and plant varieties
² Protecting the geographical origin of traditional products
² Combating pollution and engaging in preventive measures

² Promoting civil society, democracy, and interethnic cohesion
² Developing a healthy lifestyle and environment through sports and recreation
² Organizing cultural events – exhibitions, promotions, and festivals
